App In Minutes Preview (“the app”) is a companion for Shopify merchants using App In Minutes. It lets you scan a QR code from Shopify admin and preview your branded store app on a real phone before you generate or pay for a store listing build.

What the app does
After you scan a preview QR (or open a papapreview:// link), the app fetches a short-lived preview configuration from our servers and loads your Shopify catalog through Shopify’s Storefront API. Preview codes expire after 15 minutes.
Data we collect
- Camera. Used only on-device to scan the QR code in Shopify admin. Images are not stored, uploaded, or shared.
- Preview session. The scanned code identifies your shop so we can return the storefront token and branding you already connected in App In Minutes. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
- Store catalog. Product, collection, cart, and checkout data is requested from Shopify on your behalf during the preview session. It is not retained by us after the session ends.
- Diagnostics. Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash logs and an app-instance identifier so we can fix bugs. Not used for advertising.
- Analytics. Firebase Analytics records app opens and the build flavor (staging vs production). Advertising ID collection is off. Not used for tracking or ads.
- Notifications (optional). Firebase Cloud Messaging may receive an FCM token if you allow notifications, so we can send update notices.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers for ads. No third-party advertising.
- No account is created inside this app. You do not sign in with Apple or Google.
- Payments for App In Minutes happen in Shopify admin — never inside this preview app.
Third parties
Catalog and checkout requests go to Shopify. Our preview API is hosted with the App In Minutes backend. Diagnostics and optional messaging use Google Firebase. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The app is intended for Shopify merchants (businesses), not for children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
